Who can borrow items?

Anyone with a sensory need can borrow items.

You do not need to be autistic or have any kind of diagnosis.

Anyone over 18 years of age may borrow items for themselves

Children and young people need a parent/guardian to complete a loan request on their behalf

How much does it cost?

This service is free.

Some of these items can be expensive to buy

It's important to know something will support a particular need before investing money in equipment.

How long can I borrow items for?

All equipment can be loaned for up to 2 weeks

All books can be borrowed for up to 4 weeks

How do I request a loan?

To borrow items, please fill in our Loan Request Form.

If you are unable to do this, please contact us and we can do this for you.

How do I pick up and return the items?

Items need to be collected from and returned to The AU-tism Zone in Newport.

If you are unable to do this, we may be able to arrange delivery and collection with one of our Sensory Library volunteers
